Live Music: “Blue in Red” – Eclectic mix of jazz and acoustic blues

Blue in Red
Whether it’s smooth jazz, slow grooves or classic blues, “Blue in Red” delivers in spades. With Linda’s soulful vocals and skilful piano playing, intertwined with Graeme on double bass and Huang Hai Tao on drums, these experienced musicians perform an eclectic mix of jazz and acoustic blues standards and originals in a Norah Jones / Diana Krall / Alice Russell style.

Fresh from the Australian club and concert circuit, Linda and Graeme have brought their trademark blend of music to Beijing. With one CD release, “Eternity” completed, they’re looking to the fresh artistic environment of Beijing to provide the setting for their next recording.

Real soul, true blues and smooth jazz. That’s what “Blue in Red” are about.

Please see the ‘Upcoming Events’ box on the right of our web page for their next performance. Seen them play before? Please give them a star rating below. Post your reviews in the comments.
